Laguna Beach
The Santa Ana winds blew in a clear day for this ride. We
started from South Laguna and rode north to Alta Laguna Park. The route we
take is Glenneyre to Thalia to Wendt to Park St. It is quite the climb up
Park St. to Alta Laguna Park. From there it's a pleasure ride. Here
is a view of Park St. from about 2/3rds the way up. Main Beach Laguna is just to the
right out of view.

end of Catalina Island taken from the same spot. If you look real close you can see the old casino
at Avalon.
The other side of the Alta Laguna Park with Saddleback
Mountain in the
background. This is where the dirt starts. There are several trails that
take you into Aliso Canyon from here. This shot of Aliso
Canyon with Mt. Baldy on the left in the background was taken from the same location as the previous
photo.
To get back we rode Alicia Parkway to Crown Valley Parkway to PCH.
All
together about a 20 mile trip.
